Domorela can help to achieve energy savings in different ways:
- first one is operating as a permanent monitor of the whole installation,
- second one is acting over writable points present at the installation,
- third one is offering tools in order to maintain the whole installation free of errors.
Domorela's Blog: Privacy
Given the nature of the product, that the targeted customers are mainly SMBs and thinking that the better smart building is the one with less external connections, from the very begining privacy was one of the key points in the design of Domorela.
Today the most of the professional IT products are offered "as a service" at the cost of less security and losing the customers/users privacy. The reasons for the "as a service" model are various, being today the exploitation of users data as the most relevant but the training of Expert Systems, an Artificial Intelligence technique, is emerging with force.
Domorela's Blog: Security
Security was another of the key points considered from the begining in the development of Domorela as it is directly related with privacy, but also with continuity of service.
Many of the current IoT devices are designed from previous designs of older devices that weren't connected in the way the IoT is connecting devices today, so they were designed without the need to think about remote hackers with no direct access to the infrastructure and now there are a lot of security issues on those devices and/or installations.
Domorela's Blog: WUI Responsive Design
As said while introducing Web User Interface (WUI), users can browse Domorela's WUI using any W3C compatible browser (Firefox, Chrome, Safari Opera and others) without the need to install any app in the user's device.
So, to fit in any screen size, Domorela's WUI is designed using responsive design, also offering mobile design for certain views in devices with so little screen to fit well the desktop templates.
Domorela's Blog: WUI Elements View
The most basic features in Domorela's User Interface are those related to show the elements of the installation to the users, also to allow them to send commands through controls. There are two families of elements views in which they will be grouped either by type: lights, shutters, HVAC, security and multimedia; or by function: sensors, actuators and technical alarms.
